HOW IT WORKS
Sublimation onto metal is a new way to produce an image. Sublimation is the process of going from a solid to a gas back to a solid skipping the liquid state.
The image is first printed on transfer paper. The transfer paper is adhered to a pretreated aluminum.
The aluminum & transfer paper are placed in a custom heat press which is heated to temperatures exceeding 380 degrees. While being subjecting to extreme heat, the dyes from the transfer paper turn into a gas and then solidify into the treated aluminum. The dyes cool and are permanently infused into substrate.

65+ Years before fading. Beats leading photo luster papers (Permanence testing conducted by Rochester Institute of Technology, results available upon request).
SCRATCH RESISTANT
Dyes are infused beneath the exterior coating through sublimation. This makes it more durable than traditional paper/canvas imaging because it can’t be scratched off the surface.
MODERN FINISH
No Glass Needed. Sublimated aluminum can be displayed in a traditional or shadow box frame or it can be suspended off the wall by using a floating wall mount or corner standoffs for a more contemporary look.
FIRE RETARDANT
Sublimated aluminum holds up against high heat. Necessary for artwork hung in specific corporate and public environments.
WIPEABLE ARTWORK
Fingerprints of blemishes occur. A microfiber cloth and household cleaner are acceptable to use on the image. Perfect for public spaces and other high traffic areas
LIGHT WEIGHT
Though extremely rigid and durable, the 90% recycled aluminum is light weight.

All metal prints are produced as custom orders. Most images are available in all sizes from 12x18 inches to 40x60. Some limited editions may not be available.

Most images are available for purchase in both paper and metal prints. Due to some restrictions in availability we do not offer online ordering. Please use the contact form below to request a quote for an order. Order can be made via phone or email invoice. Metal prints larger than 40 inches in any dimension are limited to an Edition Run of 75, and may not be available. All smaller sized metal prints can be custom ordered as per the price list below. Shipping is available worldwide.
PAPER PRINTS
PURCHASING FINE ART PRINTS
All of our loose prints are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive. They come in two sizes, 12x18 and 16x24 inches.
ARCHIVAL
Excellent resistance to light fade and long-term dark storage.
MATTE SURFACE
Prints have a slightly pebbled texture and resist showing of finger prints and dust.
LOOSE PRINTS/FRAMING
Prints can be rolled for storage or travel and can be easily framed at your local frame shop.
